Broughton’s 100th Anniversary

Established in 1929 in Raleigh, North Carolina, Needham B. Broughton High School is getting ready for the big 100 year anniversary taking place in May 2029.

We’re revving up our effort to recognize a century of excellence in public education.

2029 may seem like a long way away, but we have a lot to plan, organize, and celebrate. You can join and be a part of the process.

We’re researching, collecting, writing and publishing the hundred year history of the people, the place, and the events that have formed the story of Needham B. Broughton High School. This unique history will be presented in a special edition hardcover book to set the stage for the next 100 years of excellence.
